EDUCATION/BIO
My name is Sherron Sewell. I graduated with honors from Cass High in Cartersville, GA. in 1995. After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, I attended Troy University, received a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2010, and am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in ESL Education at Troy. I was hired as a third grade teacher at Pinedale in 2010 and have taught 2nd and 3rd grades. In addition to teaching, I work with Beta Club, Math Team, and S.G.A. here at Pinedale. I love working with students and am blessed to have a job that I enjoy so much. My favorite part of teaching is when I get to see a student who finally "gets it." I call that the "light bulb effect." That makes my job worth all the hard work I put into it.
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have been happily married for 20 years and have three wonderful sons and a fantastic daughter. I love camping, fishing, swimming, and reading. I also enjoy serving my community. I am a Girl Scout leader for Troop 9095 and an active member of Enterprise First Baptist Church.
I look forward to getting to know each student, as well as parents. I love for parents to be a part of their child's education. Please feel free to visit our classroom at any time.
Sincerely,
Sherron Sewell
